The Executive Committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) through its Acting Hony. Secretary Rohit Pandey has written a letter addressed to the Secretary-General of the Supreme Court requesting to set up two help desks for member of the bar for filing, mentioning, letter circulation and miscellaneous matters in the Supreme Court.
The SCBA has pointed out that the members of the bar were facing inconvenience due to COVID 19 restrictions and no proper assistance being provided by the Registry. Moreover the helpline number provided by the registry is not working properly and the members are facing problems regarding the feedback. The members are also unable to contact the concerned officers due to blocking of Proximity Card and restriction in entry to the High Security Zone.
Hence, the Executive Committee of SCBA has requested the Supreme Court to provide two Help Desk Counters to maintain proper social distancing norms and as per Covid-19 guidelines outside the High-Security Zone in front of UCO Bank to redress the grievances of the members and to facilitate all the issues concerned with filing, listing, adjournment and miscellaneous matters.
