The Supreme Court bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud on Monday (July 23) allowed Karti Chidambaram, son of former finance minister P Chidambaram and an accused in a corruption case, to travel abroad between July 23 and 31.
Karti, who is out on bail, had requested the top court’s permission to travel. His bail, as well his desire to travel were opposed by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
