The Supreme Court on Friday notified the Vacation Benches that would be hearing matters during the Court’s summer vacation, which starts on Monday May 13. Surprisingly, the the Chief Justice of India is also sitting during the vacation. The CJI’s sittings are scheduled immediately after the election results are due to be out and it is probably an indication that a bench headed by him would be hearing these. While the results are out of May 23, the CJI bench will sit from May 25 to May 30.
