But for actor Sanjay Dutt who was released today, this was the money he earned during his stay inside Yerwada Jail. It may not be the crores the actor is used to earning in Bollywood but these few hundreds perhaps meant more than that to him as they were testimony of his dark days inside the prison, and also carried with them the sweet smell of freedom. At last.
Dutt handed over the earnings of what can be easily said his ‘toughest days’, to wife Manyata Dutt, who steadily stood by the actor as a boulder of unflinching support.

APN News was among the close circle of family and friends Dutt met after he got released from Yerwada Jail at 7 in the morning today. He was welcomed by Manyata, and close friends including film director Raj Kumar Hirani.
The actor looked much peaceful, and relishing his freedom as he interacted with family, and friends, basking in their warmth, gearing up to get his life and career back on track. Famous for his repartee, and conversational skills, Dutt even regaled his loved ones who were present there with a couplet from famous lyricist Hasrat Jaipuri.

Sporting a well-trimmed beard, dressed in blue shirt, and jeans, Dutt looked every inch the star he has always been.
He planned to visit Siddhivinayak Temple to pay his obeisance after he landed in Mumbai by charter plane at 11 am, which was to be followed by a visit to his mother, actor Nargis’ grave, to pay his respect, and seek her blessings. The actor had been very close to his mother, and was devastated when he lost her to cancer.
Dutt is likely to address the media later in the day after he settles down in the day.
