A division bench of Delhi High Court on Monday (Feb 18) reserved its judgment on a plea challenging a single-judge bench order asking Associated Journals Ltd (AJL) to evict the Herald House.
The bench told Centre and AJL to file their written submissions.
It is pertinent to note that union Ministry of Urban Development had in its Oct 30 notification declared that AJL’s 56-year-old lease on Herald House was expired and that it should evict.
On the previous hearing, the Centre had told the division bench that a company called Young India Limited was specially floated to take over Herald House.
