New Delhi (ILNS): Snehasish Mukherjee, former secretary of the Supreme Court Advocates-On-Record Association (SCAORA), has joined India’s oldest law firm Fox Mandal as a partner.
Mukherjee has had a dynamic career. After getting enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1999 Mukherjee began his career as an advocate and gained diverse experience of handling cases in the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court and other high courts.
He has also argued cases before other major for a, such as the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR), Appellate Authority for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (AAIFR), Debts Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT), Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT), Consumer Redressal Fora, Customs and Excise Authorities & Officials, Industrial Disputes Tribunal, P.N.G.R.B, N.G.T, T.D.S.A.T, CAT, NCLT, NCLAT etc.
Mukherjee has been practising as an Advocate on Record in the Supreme Court since 2011. He was elected as the Secretary of the SCAORA in 2018.
He specialises in Civil Commercial Laws and has been actively involved as a mediator with MCPC in the Supreme Court.
He has also handled various matters on behalf of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA). He is also an empanelled Counsel for various government institutes, authorities and boards before the Supreme Court.
