Expressing displeasure at the unruly behavior meted out to the lawyers in quasi-judicial courts, the Patna High Court on Friday cautioned Ministers and all others who hold quasi-judicial courts not to indulge in such kind of behavior.

The high court directed ministers holding quasi-judicial courts to intimate the lawyers in advance on their personal mobile numbers in case they are deferring the hearings.

The single-judge bench of Justice Rajeev Ranjan Prasad said that lawyers should be treated with dignity and respect.

The bench ordered that a copy of the order should be served all ministers, principal secretaries, DMs and others who hold quasi-judicial courts.
