A new crèche was inaugurated in the Supreme Court on Wednesday (May 2). The inauguration was done by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra.
Along with the CJI, other judges of the Supreme Court were also present. Among those were Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Kurian Joseph. CJI along with the fellow judges examined the crèche and distributed greeting cards to the children.
At present, the crèche has the facility for 30 children and 27 children have already been admitted.
On the occasion, senior lawyers were also spotted. Among them were SCBA President Vikas Singh, Senior Advocate Siddharth Luthra and Senior Advocate Indira Jaising.
The crèche has got ample facilities for the children to feel like home. It has also got good entertainment facilities.
