The Allahabad High Court on Friday (June 22) refused to interfere in the suspension order of Vijay Shankar Mishra, Assistant Director, Basic Education, Varanasi and told the investigating officer who was investigating the case to provide the copy of chargesheet to the petitioner, Vijay Shankar Mishra.
The bench of Justices Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and Neeraj Tripathi said that the petitioner will have the liberty to file his response on the chargesheet further directing the investigating officer to complete the investigation within three months and submit the report failing which the suspension order will be revoked.
Mishra was suspended after complaints of corruption. Suspension was imposed after taking cue of District Magistrate’s report.
