CBI wants narco analysis on Karti Chidambaram, appeals to SC

It has been revealed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had, on Tuesday (March 6), moved three applications in the Supreme Court. These were related to the PMLA-INX Media FIPB clearance case that the CBI is handling, vis-a-vis Karti Chidambaram, son of former Finance Minister P Chidambaram.

The first of the applications was asking for permission to conduct a Narco analysis on Karti Chidambaram.

The second application was regarding a production warrant for Karti’s chartered accountant Bhaskar Raman and Indrani Mukerjea. Bhaskar Raman was arrested by the ED and is now in judicial custody.

The court will take up the matters on March 9.
