Tehseen Poonawalla on Thursday (January 25) filed a contempt petition against Karni Sena founder member Lokendra Singh Kalvi, National President Suraj Pal in Supreme Court.
The Court posted the matter for next hearing to January 29.
Poonawalla on Thursday filed another contempt petition against Haryana, Gujarat and Rajasthan for unable to contain violence in the wake of the release of Padaamavat.
The apex court listed the matter to January 29.
Another petition related to the Padaamavat was also filed in the Delhi High Court seeking quashing of CBFC certificate to the film.
The Court refused to entertain the plea giving instruction to the petitioner to approach the apex court.
General Secretary of Johar Samiti Sansthan, Chittor Bhavar Singh had filed the petition.
