Justice Dalip Singh who served as Judicial Member, National Green Tribunal (NGT) http://www.indialegallive.com/topic/ngtsuperannuated on Friday (November 17).

During his long and illustrious career, Justice Singh held key posts. Starting his career as an advocate, Justice Singh practiced in the Rajasthan High Court at Jodhpur and later at the Jaipur Bench on the civil, criminal and constitutional sides.

He was appointed as Additional Advocate General for the state of Rajasthan in 1989-90 and appeared for the Government of Rajasthan, Income Tax Department, Central Excise and Customs Department and Election Commission of India.

Then he was appointed as permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on September 15, 2000. In 2004, he was appointed as the Judge of the Rajasthan High Court and got retirement in 2012.

He was appointed as Judicial Member of NGT in 2013.
