The president of India Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday appointed Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, and Justice Sanjiv Khanna of the Delhi High Court as judges of the Supreme Court. This was done in accordance with the SC Collegium’s January 10 resolution, which has courted controversy.
