Embattled Karti Chidambaram facing charges in money laundering case on Thursday (January 4) moved Supreme Court seeking permission to travel abroad again from January 10 to 20.
The Court posted the matter to January 8.
This is the second time that Karti is asking for permission to travel abroad. The apex court in November had allowed Karti to visit the United Kingdom (UK) for the admission of his daughter to Cambridge University.
Karti had assured the apex court in an undertaking that he will visit the UK on December 1 and would come back by December 10.
Karti is facing charges by CBI for allegedly facilitating the 2007 Foreign Investment Promotion Board clearance for INX Media Ltd when his father, P Chidambaram was the Union Finance Minister.
