NCDRC wants complainants to complete deposition against Emaar MGF in a week

A case, filed by Arvind Kumar Sanwal, against Emaar MGF Land Ltd, has come up before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC).

NCDRC’s Justice V K Jain was told that over 40 complaints had been filed against the company for delay in providing flat possession.

On Tuesday (February 20) the judge directed the complainants to complete the pleadings within a week, while Opposing Parties have been directed to file AOE in four weeks thereafter.

The next date of hearing is August 28.

The matter is related to a real estate dispute between the flat owner and the developer. The complaint has been filed under Section 12(1)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

All aforesaid allotees have a common grievance and are stated to be interested in seeking common relief against the opposite party.
