Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, under investigation in the Panama Papers case, has suffered another major setback from the Pakistani Supreme Court. News from Islamabad says that the Supreme Court of that country has now barred Sharif from ever contesting elections or holding public office. This order is for life.
According to the court, this life ban is as per Article 62 (1)(f) of the Constitution of the country.
