Delhi HC orders JNU not to take any coercive steps against Kanhaiya Kumar till next hearing

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday (May 30) issued a show-cause notice to the secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs for insisting on scrutinising the entry of advocates with valid bar council cards, into the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) complex, Delhi.

The advocates have complained to the court that they are being treated like step children and have to stand in long general queues before entering into the building.

With the card, they were supposed to have unrestricted entry into the building where they are doing their job.

The next date of hearing has been fixed for May 31.
