SC to decide on CLAT exam glitches issue on May 30

A Supreme Court bench on Friday (May 25) decided that the issue of discrepancies and glitches in the nationwide online CLAT exams will be dealt with on May 30.

The court was also informed that a grievance redressal

committee has been formed to look into the technical glitches that happened during the CLAT LLM examination. This committee will examine every single representation and take appropriate decision from case to case.

One counsel submitted before the court that this matter should be kept for Monday so that all the names of the candidates who have complained can be put together and submitted before the court.

The bench said that the reports must be prepared by the committee by May 29 so that the report can be submitted before the court on May 30.

The court also said that a separate email ID should be created for filing of online complaints.

Eth counsel also said that similar complaints made before various high courts should also be considered. The bench said let the committee examine the issue first.
