The Centre on Monday (January 8) sought time from the Supreme Court to file its reply to a PIL that seeks a citizens’ charter in every department of the government to ensure time bound delivery of goods and services and redressal of citizens’ grievances.
The Bench comprising of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar, DY Chandrachud listed the matter for next hearing to February 12.
The PIL also seeks implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption dated October 31, 2003 and the Sense of House Resolution dated August 27, 2011.
