The Supreme Court on Tuesday (February 20) agreed to hear a plea of Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier seeking invalidation of a slew of charges and an FIR registered against her for allegedly hurting the sentiments of a minority community. This will be heard on Wednesday.
Varrier shot to fame after a video of a film Oru Addar Love featuring her went viral on the social media due to a wink by her. The members of the minority community taking offence at the wink allegedly have filed complaints.
