The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has challenged the scrutiny of the CBI probe in court. The Central government had issued notification on the request of the state government in this regard for a probe into the activities of the Commission between April 2012 and March 2017.
The hearing will be on January 9.
The Allahabad High Court bench of Chief Justice DB Bhosale and Justice Suneet Kumar has issued notice to the Centre, asking on what basis the CBI probe had been ordered.
