New Delhi (ILNS): In view of the ongoing Corona pandemic, the Allahabad High Court yesterday extended the life of its interim orders till December 1 this year.
A division bench of Justice MN Bhandari and Justice Piyush Agrawal extended the interim orders expiring during this period till December 1 of all the Courts, tribunals including the High Court due to non-regularization of the court work in the COVID-19 transition.
The bench has given this order considering the position of Courts as the condition of COVID-19 Pandemic has held that:
“The position on account of COVID-19 Pandemic has not improved entirely, therefore, this Court is of the opinion that the direction given by this Court on 19.08.2020 to extend the effect of the earlier order till 31.10.2020 needs to be extended and, accordingly, the order quoted above in reference to the extension of the interim order and even for the limitation, as given therein, is made operational and effective till 01.12.2020.”
