The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposal for the appointment of 4 Additional Judges of the Kerala High Court as permanent Judges in the High Courts of Kerala.
In a notification issued , the Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting has approved the proposal for the appointment of 4 Additional Judges of the Madras High Court. These include:
- Justice Murali Purushothaman
- Justice Rahmann A.A
- Justice Karunakaran Babu
- Justice Kauser Edappagath
The Collegium consisted of five top-most judges of the Apex Court, headed by Chief Justice (CJI) N.V. Ramana. The other four Judges of the Collegium included Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar, Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud and L. Nageswara Rao.
