The appointment of eleven judicial and twelve administrative members to the Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) have been cleared by the Government of India.
As per the notification issued on November 15, 2022, the Government has cleared names of retired High Court judges and some defence personnel who shall be appointed as members in the fixed pay scale of ₹2,25,000 per month for a period of 4 years or till they attain the age of 67, whichever is earlier.
