With the retirement of Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde on April 23, the Supreme Court Collegium will be recast.
The Collegium, which comprises five of the senior-most judges of the court, will then comprise the new Chief Justice N.V. Ramana and Justices Rohinton F. Nariman, U.U. Lalit, A.M. Khanwilkar, and D.Y Chandrachud.

Justice Chandrachud will remain in the Collegium till November 24, 2024, when he is due to retire as Chief Justice.
