From: Ms Ramya Haridas (MP)

To: The Honourable Speaker, Lok Sabha

On 2nd March at 3 PM inside Lok Sabha I was physically assaulted by the MP Ms Jaskaur Meena. Is this repeatedly happened to me just because I am Dalit and woman? I request you to take action against the said MP.

Regards,

On the first day of the second leg of the budget session, BJP and Congress members pushed and shoved each other in Lok Sabha as opposition parties’ protested over the violence in Delhi and demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah.

Speaker Om Birla adjourned the House till Tuesday, as he said the House could not be conducted due to the ruckus.

“I am very upset at what happened in House. In such circumstances, I cannot conduct the House. The House is adjourned till tomorrow. Both sides are blaming each other,” said Speaker Om Birla.
