SC blasts Centre for delaying tactics on Delhi environmental issues

The Supreme Court bench of Justices Ranjan Gogoi and Navin Sinha is hearing a case where a company, Swastik India, had duped around Rs 22 crore from gullible depositors. The CBI has filed a case and on Friday (September 15) one of the key conspirators, Sabyasachi Pani was at the court with his bail application.

Apart from Pani, a director, the CBI had also arrested the other director of the firm, Pramod Parida and another, named Dash.

The CBI said that apart from being the director of Swastik India, Dash was also a director with the Artha Tatwa (AT) group. He was arrested by the CBI in 2014 for his alleged links with the AT Group and its CMD Pradeep Sethy, who is lodged in Jharpada Jail in the capital city.

The court issued notice.
