RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav got a major relief on Friday. He was granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court in a fodder scam case pertaining to false withdrawal of funds from the Deoghar treasury on two sureties amounting Rs 50,000 each.
The order was passed by Justice Apresh Singh.
Yadav will however remain in jail in two other cases related to the scam.
Yadav has been held guilty in four fodder scam cases. He has been granted bail in a fourth case related to the multi-crore scam.
Yadav currently is recuperating in Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) due to ailments related to Kidney, sugar etc.
