Gujarat High Court judge Justice GR Udhwani passed away on Saturday morning after battling Covid-19. Justice Udhwani, 59, was born on November 25, 1961 and was elevated as Gujarat High Court judge on November 12, 2012. He began his law practice in 1987 after being enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Gujarat. He joined the Bench as a Judge in City Civil Court at Ahmedabad in 1997 and was appointed as an Additional Judge, Special Court (POTA) in October 2003. He was also appointed as the Registrar General of the Gujarat High Court after having worked as the Registrar General Incharge in 2011.
