The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of Advocate Harish Kumar as a Judge of the Patna High Court.
The decision was taken on Tuesday, during a meeting of the Collegium.
“The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting held on February 8, 2022, has approved the proposal for elevation of Harish Kumar, Advocate, as Judge in the Patna High Court,” a statement released by the Collegium said.
As on February 1, the Patna High Court had 26 judges as against its sanctioned strength of 53, leaving a vacancy of 27 judges.
