Himachal CM, wife get bail on disproportionate assets’ case
The Patiala House Court on May 29 granted bail to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and eight others—including his wife Pratibha Singh—in the Rs 10 crore disproportionate assets case. Congress leader Digvijaya Singh become the surety.
CBI judge Virender Kumar Goyal heard the bail application of all the accused and fixed bail at Rs 1 lakh. They have been advised not to travel abroad without the permission of the court.
The other on the accused list are Anand Chauhan, Lawan Kumar Roach, Vakamullah Chandrashekhar, Joginder Singh Ghalta, Prem Raj, Chunni Lal and and Ram Prakash Bhatia.
The next date of hearing is July 27.
