The Hidayatullah National Law University was honoured with a certificate of appreciation by Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey on behalf of the Indian Red Cross Society.
The Indian Red Cross Society held a function to honour individuals, corporates and institutions, who have undertaken blood donation drive in recent times. The HNLU Legal Aid Clinic in the past has conducted blood donation drive in its campus. Dr Balwinder Kaur, faculty and former head of Legal Aid Clinic at HNLU, and a team of students had contributed to the noble cause.
The Legal Aid Clinic of HNLU played a stellar role in mitigating problems faced by migrants during Covid-19 lockdowns and is proactively involved in pro-bono activities.
Prof (Dr) V.C. Vivekanandan received the memento and certificate of appreciation from the Governor with Pranav Singh, Secretary, IRCS CG State Branch and Amrit Xalxo IAS, Secretary to Governor & Chairman IRCS, CG State Branch were present in the award function.
