Justice Ashok Bhushan, who retired from the Supreme Court on July 2, was given a fond goodbye by India Legal-APN News with a special programme on the highlights of the judge’s career.
Justice Bhushan was part of several important judgements including the 2019 Ayodhya Ramjanmabhoomi title suit, the 2018 Aadhaar judgement, the 2021 one nation, one ration card scheme, the 2021 loan moratorium order and the 2021 striking down of the Maratha quota via SEBC.

Justice Bhushan was to retire on July 4 but advanced his day of retirement to July 2 due to his mother’s demise. He joined the Supreme Court as a judge on May 13, 2016 and was chief justice of the Kerala High Court from 2015. Here’s wishing Justice Bhushan the best ahead!
