Supreme Court judge Justice Vikram Nath took the Delhi Metro to the Faculty of Law in Delhi University’s North Campus to deliver a lecture on Tuesday. This is being credited as a first for a sitting Supreme Court judge to take public transport for commuting.

Justice Nath boarded the Yellow Line from Rajiv Chowk station and disembarked at Vishwavidyalaya station and then went to the Law Faculty campus.

The judge addressed the Deeksharambh 2025 Orientation Programme at Delhi University’s Law Centre–II held at Shankar Lal Concert Hall.

Reports said commuters recognised the judge during the journey.
