Karanjawala & Co wins big at ET Legal Awards 2023, including Law Firm of the Year

Law firm Karanjawala & Co won three awards at the Economic Times Legal Awards, 2023 in Mumbai. The law firm got the Law Firm of the Year Award, the Award for excellence in Litigation (other than arbitration) Law Firm; and Award for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Law Firm.

The advisory board for the ET Legal Awards comprised Dr Lalit Bhasin, President, Society of Indian Law Firms, Sidharth Luthra, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, and Rajeev Chopra, Managing Director, Legal Accenture.

The grand jury for these awards consisted of former Chief Justice of India Justice U.U. Lalit (Retd.), former Chief Justice of India Justice Dipak Misra (Retd.), retired Supreme Court judges Justice B.N. Srikrishna and Justice Deepak Verma, and Ms. Justice Pratibha M. Singh, sitting Judge of Delhi High Court and Zia Mody, Managing Partner, AZB & Partners.

The jury members consisted of retired Supreme Court judges Justice A.K. Sikri, Justice A.K. Goel and Justice M.R. Shah, retired Delhi High Court judge, Justice Talwant Singh, Senior Advocates Indira Jaisingh, Amit Desai, Dr Menaka Guruswamy, and retired civil servant and consultant IP law Dr. Raghavender G.

The firm has received several awards in the past for Litigation and for Arbitration, these awards are among the most prestigious and also because this is the first time, the firm has been chosen cutting across all categories and including all participating firms as the Law Firm of the Year.
