Law Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday assured that the Government of India will keep all the documents kept as records in the central agency of the Supreme Court in digital form, to promote paperless work culture.
He said in line with the vision of Digital India, legal documents of various ministries and agencies will be kept in digital form, adding that the government will take this step to promote paperless work culture.
Visiting the central agency of the Supreme Court, where legal documents of various ministries and agencies are kept safe, the Minister said, “Visited Central Agency Section at Supreme Court Complex. These are tonnes of legal documents of various Ministries & Agencies. In line with PM Narendra Modi ji’s vision of Digital India we will weed out redundant files and digitise all records to ensure a paperless work culture.”
