President Ram Nath Kovind has approved the appointment of seven Additional Judges in the Allahabad High Court. All these judges are judicial officers of the higher judicial service cadre.
The judges appointed are Mohammad Aslam, Anil Kumar Ojha, Sadhna Rani Thakur, Naveen Srivastava, Syed Aftab Hussain Rizvi, Ajay Tyagi and Ajay Kumar Srivastava‐I.
According to Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Rajinder Kashyap, Sadhna Rani Thakur, Syed Aftab Hussain Rizvi and Ajay Kumar Srivastava‐I have been appointed for two years from the date of their swearing-in.

Mohammad Aslam will serve till January 14, 2023, Anil Kumar Ojha till July 1, 2022, Naveen Srivastava till December 19, 2021, and Anil Tyagi till December 3, 2022 from the date of assuming charge.
