New Delhi (ILNS): The Delhi High Court today dismissed another plea filed Ashok Arora challenging his removal from the post of Secretary to the Supreme Court Bar Association. His earlier application was for a stay on the removal order. A single judge bench of the court had not agreed to put a stay then.
A divisional bench of Justices Rajiv Sahai Endlaw and Asha Menon, while hearing the plea via video conferencing, noted: “We don’t see any reason to interfere with the order of the learned single judge.”
The appeal has been filed against the impugned order dated October 6, refusing the stay on his removal from the post of Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) stating that there is “no prima facie case made out.”
