Senior Advocate of Calcutta High Court, Samaraditya Pal, passed away on Thursday.
He was the husband of retired Supreme Court judge, Justice Ruma Pal.
The MA, LLB got his Barrister degree from Inner Temple, London, United Kingdom.
He was one of the best-known barristers/advocates in the Calcutta High Court.
Pal has authored many books on Law, Public Service, and the origins and evolution of the Indian Constitution.
He has also appeared in cases such as the Singrur land acquisition for Tata Motors, the Election Commission and the West Bengal panchayat poll case.
