For the first time ever in the history of India, the Supreme Court on Saturday celebrated its Foundation Day, commemorating its 74 years of existence.
Supreme Court Judge, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, started the event with his Welcome Speech, which will be followed by Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud addressing the august gathering.

Chief Justice of Singapore, Justice Sundaresh Menon, is the Chief Guest on the occasion.
He will deliver the first annual lecture on the 73rd Foundation Day of the Supreme Court of India. Justice Menon will deliver the lecture on ‘The Role of the Judiciary in a Changing World’.
Vote of Thanks will be given by Supreme Court Judge, Justice K.M. Joseph.
