Tata Group terminates contract with Suhel Seth amid sexual harassment allegations

The Tata Group has fired high profile marketing professional Suhel Seth, as a consultant for the company following allegations of sexual harassment by several women. Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, has decided to terminate its contract with Suhel Seth and his company, Counselage.

Seth’s contract with Tata Sons will end on November 30, 2018, said a Tata Sons spokesperson. At least five women had accused Seth of sexual harassment and assault including a well-known model and a filmmaker. Seth, who was hyperactive on social media and a regular on TV channels, has gone incommunicado since the allegations broke earlier this month and his mobile phone has been switched off. He has, so far, not responded to any of the complaints or to journalists and media outlets wanting his reaction.
