The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the names of two additional judges to be made permanent judges in Chhattisgarh High Court.

The name of the Judges include Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas and Justice Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi

The decision was taken in a meeting of the Collegium held on November 23, the resolution of which was uploaded today.

After the President gives his assent on the appointment the number of permanent judges in the High Court will go from 8 to 10, and the overall vacancies will reduce from 6.

The Chattisgarh High Court, is currently working with 8 permanent and 6 additional judges whereas the sanctioned strength is of 17 permanent and 5 additional judges
