New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today has directed the Tihar Jail authorities to give medical treatment for oral cancer to the brother of expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Senger, who was sentenced for 10 years for his role in the custodial killing of the Unnao rape victim’s father.
A divisional bench of the Delhi HC comprising Justice Vipin Sengar and Justice Rajnish Bhatnagar while hearing the matter through video conferencing was told that Atul Singh Sengar has been diagnosed with oral cancer.
The plea has been filed by Atul seeking 8 weeks parole for his medical treatment for several issues and for undergoing surgery in Kanpur.
The counsel appearing for Atul submitted that after the last order of the court it was found that Atul is suffering from oral cancer.
Whereas, the counsel appearing for the government submitted that the jail authorities shall ensure the treatment of Atul.

The bench while disposing of the petition stated that the jail authorities shall ensure necessary and adequate treatment, as advised by doctors, is provided to him.
