Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said the state government has sanctioned around Rs 70 crore for digitisation of subordinate or lower courts, so as to provide justice to the common man easily.
The Chief Minister said this, while welcoming President Ram Nath Kovind, Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Judges of the Supreme Court and senior officials of the government at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the new National Law University, proposed to be established at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.
Mr Adityanath said that the demand for a separate law university and a multi-level parking facility was being raised for years. Prayagraj is the land of ‘Dharma’ and about 24 crore people depend on this town for justice.
“The state government will fully cooperate in the National Law University project,” he assured.

The Chief Minister further said that National Law University will give new dimensions to research along with education to the new generation. There is also a confluence of religion, justice and education in Prayagraj, he emphasised.
He highlighted that the demand of Advocates practising in Allahabad High Court time for multilevel parking and chambers has been fulfilled today.
