The transfer of Justice P Sam Koshy from the Chhattisgarh High Court to the Telangana High Court has been notified by the Central government.
The tweet on the development has been put by the Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal
The Supreme Court Collegium had earlier this month recommended the transfer after Justice Koshy had made a personal request seeking a transfer out of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
The Collegium resolution had stated that it had initially proposed that the judge be transferred to the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
However, Justice Koshy had then requested that the transfer be to any other High Court. The Collegium then recommended his transfer to the Telangana High Court.
