Senior Advocate Aman Lekhi on Friday resigned from the post of the Additional Solicitor General of India.
In a letter addressed to Union Minister of Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju on Friday, Lekhi said he was tendering his resignation from the post of ASG of India at the Supreme Court with immediate effect.
The Allahabad High Court has stayed the arrest of a CRPF personnel, a native of Gorakhpur, posted in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and has sought a reply from the Central and state government in the matter.
The Allahabad High Court has pulled up the Central government for conspicuously remaining absent in a case, despite two notices being issued to them for the same during previous hearings.
Senior Advocate P.S. Narasimha was born on May 04, 1963. He was appointed as an Additional Solicitor General of India, in 2014 and he subsequently resigned in 2018.
