Prayagraj (ILNS): The Allahabad High Court has stopped the arrest of film actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The court also stopped the arrest of his three family members, who had been named as co-accused in the rape and molestation case filed by the actor’s estranged wife Aaliya.

An alcoholic, who was allegedly forced into a de-addiction center by his relatives, has been released by the Allahabad High Court. The court maintained that forcible detention of an alcoholic, against his will, even in a de-addiction center was illegal.

The Allahabad High Court has directed the SSP of Prayagraj to provide security to the gang rape victim of Phoolpur and her family. At the same time, the court has directed the SSP to monitor the investigation of the case on its own and take strict action against the negligent police officers. The court has said that FIRs should be immediately registered for every criminal incident, especially crimes against women and children.

The Allahabad High Court has stayed the demolition of the Bhovapur labour colony behind the Radisson Blue Hotel in Kaushambi, Ghaziabad until further orders. Simultaneously, a counter affidavit has been sought from the Ghaziabad Development Authority along with their complete rehabilitation plan.
