The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued notices to State of Andhra Pradesh and Registrar of High Court on a plea challenging the pre-requisite condition of 3 yrs of practice as an advocate to be eligible for the Civil Judge Exam in Andhra Pradesh.
The High Court in Hyderabad in 2016 had dismissed a complaint filed by Ramakrishna Reddy seeking an investigation into Naidu’s alleged role in the cash-for-vote case on the ground that Reddy had no locus standi to file such an application.
A bench headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul said the petitioner has made a prayer which is a little confusing since it seeks creation of an internal committee headed by sitting or retired judges of the SC or any authority for investigating the allegations on a sitting judge of the SC.
