The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday resumed hearing on the petitions filed by Muslim women, seeking permission to wear Hijab and other headscarves to educational institutions.
The Apex Court on Friday heard the Petition filed by five women alleging that that thrusting a compulsory practice on a believer was violative of the fundamental right to freedom of religion under Article 25 of the Constitution of India.
