A Supreme Court bench of Justices L. Nageshwar Rao, BR Gavai and BV Nagarathna dismissed a plea filed by Bajaj Auto against AAP government's decision to issue over 4,200 permits to electric auto rickshaws citing how locals in Delhi are adversely affected by air pollution.
The Supreme Court on Thursday granted 10 days time to the Central government to file counter-affidavit against plea challenging conjugal rights provisions.
Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani appeared for the petitioners. He said: “This is a very serious case. There are two eye witnesses. The state is taking no action when two have been killed brutally.
